Every human comes into this life with a conscious mind, and as we age, this awareness develops and becomes fine-tuned enough that we are able to discern between right and wrong instinctively. Sure, we are taught and told about others beliefs and traditions that sometimes alters our own natural ability to make rational assessments of  any given character, but for the most part, we know right from wrong by age 13 or 14. This begins the time that we, as developing souls, prepare for the age of accountability, which comes by age 18.

Determining whether another person is basically good, or genuinely bad to the core, becomes an undertaking that most of us can evaluate, if we are sincere about the assessment, by age 18 or even earlier. When it comes to evaluating a ‘god’ or ‘lord’ presents an entirely different situation. Most people will not dare to evaluate their own ‘god’ in such a way as they would a friend or stranger. The fear factor comes in to play and the thought usually gets dismissed before it even gets to the point of determination.

However, there is a fool-proof way of measuring the character of any God or Lord. One would expect a good God to set a fine upstanding example of righteousness, purity, and understanding. One would expect nothing less from a good God whom they would devote their life to, sacrifice their souls for, and outwardly worship every day of their existence on earth.

The measuring rod that I used to determine Jehovah’s true character is based on the good-evil chart – seen at right. Nothing more – nothing less.  The fruit does not fall far from the tree – in other words, if a God practices evil, performs evil horrendous deeds, murders, kills, is highly intolerant, is ruthless and unforgiving – he is not a good God by any stretch of the imagination, nor is he worthy of our devotion. Evil is as evil does. Case Closed.
